Circuit description:
This circuit board enables a 'cyclops' center brake light to be installed on a vehicle which does not have this light, and works correctly. This device senses when the brake lights are on, then powers the center brake light. This device does not allow the center brake light to blink with the turn signal like other add-on devices do. Notice the illustration above. The center brake light never illuminates with just the turn signal. It illuminates with the brake light.
Used to add a center brake light to older vehicles before they were required by law, to prevent rear end collisions.

This control circuit board, which measures less than 2" by 1.5", has a simple four wire installation. One connection to each tail light, one connection to the center brake light, and a ground wire to be connected if you want the diagnostic light on the circuit board to operate (this connection is not needed for the circuit to work). The circuit board can be tucked away between the two tail lights if you wish.
